Thermoconcept assures the conception, the development, the production and the commercialization of the DETECT (Thermoconcept Estimation Instrument of the Thermal Effusivity and the Conductivity).

DETECT is a thermal characterization device based on Hot Wire and Hot Plan methods. This device measures the thermal conductivity and the thermal effusivity. It allows to determine thermal diffusivity by an indirect method.

Various atmospheres and adaptability:

DETECT is a polyvalent device which is adapted to the industry or R&D problems. It has a large range of applications. Indeed, it measures solids, pastes, liquids and powders.

Our characterization device has a medium temperature range from room temperature to 150°C thanks to the Thermoconcept sensors in Kapton.

Functionality and simplicity:

The DETECT comprehension is simple thanks to its acquisition and automatic data processing software: it's just necessary to put the sample and to enter experimental parameters.

DETECT is little (< 1,5Kg) and it's easily integrated to its work environment. Moreover, it's non-destructive because  samples are intact after measurement. Samples sizes are unlimited. They depend on measured material.
